Today marked one of the most meaningful days of the year for Community Hospice—our annual visit to NAS Navy Base in Pensacola, Florida, where we honor and celebrate the Veterans we are so privileged to serve.
We were proud to host a special luncheon followed by a VIP tour of the National Naval Aviation Museum, a highlight for everyone involved. This event is our way of saying thank you to the men and women who have served our country with courage and dedication.
A heartfelt thank you to NAS Pensacola and the Naval Aviation Museum for opening your doors, and to the dedicated team at William F. Green Veterans Home for joining us. We’re also grateful to Sonny’s BBQ for providing a delicious lunch, and to our amazing Community Hospice Volunteers who made the day possible with their time, energy, and compassion.

And a special thank you to the young sailors who took the time to visit, swap stories, and connect with our Veterans—it meant the world to all of us.
Events like this are a reminder of the deep respect and gratitude we have for those who’ve served. We are honored to walk alongside our Veterans, both in life and in care.
