Harvest For Hope is a fundraising event hosted by the Community Hospice of Baldwin County Foundation. Proceeds from the event will help provide support to individuals and families of those affected by terminal illness.
The Community Hospice Foundation (CHF) will host its annual fundraising event on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024 from 6 pm-10:00 pm. Harvest for Hope will be at Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope. Proceeds from donations and our annual fundraiser, Harvest for Hope, go to CHF, a non-profit organization formed to support individuals and families of those affected by a terminal illness by offering financial support, education, bereavement and advocacy. CHF assists patients and families in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
“When a specific, special need arises in our community, we do our best to help,” said Community Hospice Foundation Board Member Martha Allegri. “Whether it be putting food on the table, helping cover travel expenses for a family member or a wheelchair ramp for a community member, we want people to know they are not alone during this challenging time. It’s a privilege for us to provide additional support to not aloneers of this community in their final months, and events like Harvest for Hope on October 4, 2024 make this possible.”
At the event, there will be live entertainment by Alabama-based Tommy Morse Band. Event goers can also purchase Drawdown tickets with a grand prize of $2,500 and participate in a silent auction. Delicious food and select beverages including a signature drink will be provided with ticket purchase. Tickets are available for purchase on communityhospiceAL.org or Eventbrite. You can also call Susan Cox and she will bring the Square to you to ring up your credit card.
The CHF is currently seeking sponsors and Memorial Donations for the event. You can donate online at www.communityhospiceal.org.
